PhD Cohort Formation

At the start of every academic year, the ELS Academy organizes a kick-off event for the new PhD cohort. These PhD researchers share an interest in empirically studying legally relevant questions. Members of a PhD cohort follow as much as possible the same workshops and courses that make up the research training offered by the ELS Academy. They form a community of peers from whom they can learn and call on for support during the challenging times of doing a PhD.
