Part 2. Advanced Empirical Legal Studies: Research Designs – Applications

Course Description: In the practical part of the course students learn how to apply those research designs themselves (difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity, event studies, survey experiments, synthetic control methods). Taught by Dr. Jaroslaw Kantorowicz.

Prior Requirements: Introductory knowledge of statistics is expected, and basic knowledge of STATA/R is required.

Extra Information: It is possible for students to attend Part 1 without attending Part 2 (but not the other way around).
