Interviews: Design, Execution and Qualitative analysis

Course Description: In this course, participants will study how to design, execute, and analyze qualitative data derived from human subjects. This course will enable participants to:

  • grasp basic tenets of interview and case study design, data coding, and analysis;
  • practice interviewing in role-play exercises;
  • collaborate with qualitatively trained colleagues to develop their own qualitative studies;
  • critically reflect on qualitative human subject research; and
  • further deepen their foundational qualitative research skills through specialized courses.

When: The course has 4 classes, on the following dates:

  • 09 April 2026, 14:00 – 16:00
  • 16 April 2026, 14:00 – 16:00
  • 23 April 2026, 14:00 – 16:00
  • 30 April 2026, 14:00 – 16:00

Maximum of external participants: The course has up to five spots available for staff from other universities.
