How to analyse qualitative data

The course leads you through the process of analysing qualitative data such as interviews, court rulings or other texts in a systematic way. During the course, we will cover the following topics, using practical examples:

1)    Types of analysis
2)    Steps in analysing qualitative data
3)    Organising your data
4)    Coding
5)    Finding patterns/themes
6)    How to ensure scientific rigor?
7)    Use of data analysis software

During the course, we discuss practical questions that participants have regarding their own research.

Prior Requirements: None.

When:  1 session of 2 hours to be announced in 2027.

Location: Radboud University

Practical information: depending on the participants, the course is given in English or Dutch.
