This event is aimed at PhD candidates and scholars engaged in empirical legal research. Participants are invited to present their (early-stage) research, whilst also receiving valuable feedback from senior researchers. We are happy to announce that the keynote will be given by prof. mr. dr. Sanne Taekema.

The program will focus on two key themes:

• The use of empirical methods in legal research;
• The interplay between empirical and normative dimensions in research.
