Methods of Causal Inference
Course Description: The goal of this course is to give students a comprehensive toolbox for producing cutting edge applied empirical research, with focus on the theory and practice behind causal inference in empirical legal studies. The course will be taught by prof. Pieter Desmet and Dr. Aylin Aydin Cakir. We will cover methods and research designs, such as but not limited to, experiments, differences-in-differences, regression discontinuity and instrumental variables.
Prior Requirements: Introductory knowledge of statistics is expected
