Biography by Marijke ter Voert

Marijke ter Voert is Professor of Empirical Legal Studies at Radboud University. Her research focuses on judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution, access to justice, and legal professions. She employs both quantitative and qualitative empirical methods to examine how legal processes function in practice, particularly for vulnerable litigants. Marijke serves as a board member of the ELS Academy.
